What's Happening at Enterprise Public School?

We have had a very busy month of October so far. Our Intermediate students participated in a local soccer tournament in Tamworth and we had 20 students participate in the Cross Country meet at Fort Henry. Bus patrollers have participated in a training day at Bath Public School and will begin to be visible on our buses.

Please keep an eye on School Day, as we have hot lunch, popcorn and Halloween Mystery bags orders all due. Thank you to our parent council for their ongoing support and fundraising efforts.

Picture Day Rescheduled

Picture day has been rescheduled and will now take place on November 6th.

Personal Items and Toys

Please do not send personal toys and other items to school. Our school has just purchased a new order of outdoor equipment for recess. We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged toys.

Hot Lunch Orders

Order your hot lunches through School Day. Please contact the office if you have any problems getting into School Day.

News from Parent Council

Our next Parent Council meeting is October 28th at 6:00 pm. Everyone is welcome. If you would like to follow our Facebook page you can find us here https://www.facebook.com/share/16nndBG7SS/?mibextid=wwXIfr.

We are selling goodie bags for students to deliver to their friends on Halloween. Purchases can be made through School Day and the bags delivered to students on October 31st. Students will be able to fill out a card and have the Monster Mystery bag sent to their friend. This is a candy-free mystery bag. Orders are due on October 24th.

Human Development and Sexual Health Curriculum K-8

As part of LDSB's commitment to ongoing transparency and communication with families, please follow the link to Form 325-D on the LDSB website. It outlines the Human Development and Sexual Health curriculum expectations for Grades 1-8.  Families can request to have their child or children exempted from instruction related to Human Development and Sexual Health expectations by completing and returning an exemption form for each child (Form 325-B:) five school days before the start of instruction. Prior to instruction, your child's classroom teacher will inform parents/guardians when the expectations related to the Human Development and Sexual Health expectations in Strand D will be covered. For a more detailed overview of this process, please refer to Administrative Procedure 325: Exemption From Human Development and Sexual Health Instruction (listed under the Policies and Procedures section of the LDSB website), or contact the school.

CPIC

If you are planning to volunteer in any capacity with the school, please take the time to get a CPIC filled out. If you have had one completed within the past year, please just stop in and sign a declaration form here at the school.  If you haven’t - please pick up a form from the Office and apply for your CPIC online.  It is free of charge if you are volunteering with the school.  Please take time to consider this as it is a requirement when working with or accompanying our students on field trip outings. Thank you for your support in this.

Medical Needs

For all medical needs, including the use of epi-pens and asthma inhalers, new 2025-2026 forms are required to be filled out and returned.  Some forms must also be completed and signed by your physician. These forms can be faxed back to the school from the Doctor’s Office if that is more convenient. Our Fax number is 613-358-2083.
