Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s),
We hope that all of our Enterprise families are continuing to stay well and safe. We miss our students and families!
We have appreciated your patience with the retrieval of personal items from the school. LDSB and KFLA have now provided the appropriate policies and procedural guidelines for the retrieval of student items. Over today and tomorrow, school staff will organize, bag and label, as best possible, student belongings.
Retrieval of items is scheduled for this Wednesday June 3rd. The following guiding principles will be followed:

The health and safety of individuals is of the utmost importance. Public Health (KFL&A Public Health) prevention measures must be followed during visits (e.g. active screening prior to entry, hand washing, physical distancing.

Anyone who has recently returned from travel or demonstrates any of the symptoms of COVID 19 should not be accessing the building until the completion of 14-day self-isolation or 14 days after the end of any symptoms.

Access is being granted only for the retrieval of student belongings, and in some cases, the return of board technology or textbooks.

Parents/guardians and students should restrict their movement to the areas required to gather their items.
The following process for the retrieval of student items will be followed at Enterprise School.
Please follow the time slots/schedule provided. Retrieval of student items is scheduled in an alphabetical order of student surnames.
A-F 9:00-10:00 am
G-K 10:00-11:00 am
L-P 11:00-12:00 pm
Q-U 12:00-1:00 pm
V-Z 1:00-2:00 pm
When you arrive at the school, we are asking that you stay in your vehicle. Please park your vehicle at the front of the school. There will be pylons placed at the front of the school with designated parking spots. A staff member will approach your vehicle and ask for the name’s of the students in your household. We will retrieve the items for you. Please have your trunk open and we will place the items in your vehicle for you.
If you are unable to come to your designated time slot, please contact Ms. Bender at [email protected] to coordinate an alternate arrangement.
While retrieving your items, all parents/guardians and students must practice appropriate physical distancing, and remain at least 2 metres apart, at all times. Members of the same family do not have to distance. Please come at your assigned time.
The purpose of the visit is to collect belongings. We would kindly ask that families do not play/visit with others while at the school, but to come and get your belongings and leave as quickly as possible, in the interest of everyone’s health and safety.
Any personal items that are not retrieved will be safely stored until September, at which time another opportunity for collection will take place.
