Staff update and Belongings

Staffing update and Belongings
Posted on 05/21/2020

We miss you - we miss our interactions and dealing with our students and community.

It is that time of year where we are getting our staffing information and are able to share out what changes there will be and what our tentative organization will be for September.  Our organizations are always tentative until we get our numbers in September.  There are families that move in or out between now and September.

We would like to say thank you to Mr. Argyle.  He will not be returning to us in September.  We appreciate all that Mr. Argyle has given, and done for our students at Enterprise.  We wish him the best as he continues his education career.

We would like to welcome Mrs. Ashley Pixley.  She will be the new Gr. 6/7/8 teacher.

We would like to welcome Mrs. Shannon Boutilier as our Vice Principal. Mrs. Boutilier joins us from Southview School.

Next year, we will have two Educational Assistants to support our students. We are grateful for the extra support for our classrooms.

Our staffing compliment has remained the same for September, but the way that the numbers are looking in certain grades our organization looks a little different.  We currently have the following class organization:

JK/SK - Ms S. Winslade, Mrs. S. Dibb

1-2 - Ms. D. Blommesteyn

3-4 - Mrs. C. Pelow

4-5-6 - Mr. T. Pelow

6-7-8 - Ms. A. Pixley

French - Ms. K. Sullivan

VP/SST-Mrs. S. Boutilier

Office Administrator-Shellie Bender

Head Caretaker-Marlene Hawley

EA(s) - TBD

As our numbers continue to evolve, our organization may change, and staff may change.  Our staffing process for the system is a fluid one and changes may occur throughout the rest of this year and into September.

As you are now probably aware all LDSB schools will remain closed for the remainder of 2019-2020 school year due to COVID-19 as announced by the Premier and Minister of Education on May 19, 2020.

You probably have many questions about retrieving belongings and items from the school.  The board is currently working on the process for you to be able to come and get the personal items of your children.  They are working with KFLA Public Health to determine the safest way to do that.  As soon as the process is approved and we know the steps that have to be followed we will be contacting families.

As of now the school access is still extremely limited and we are following the protocols set out.  Teaching Staff still do not have access to our schools.

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this together.
